THE FRONT RANGE NURSE AIDE TRAINING PROGRAM
START:
Completion and submission of application form and required payment to attain enrollment of student in Front Range Nurse Aide Training Program.
STEP 2:
SNA demonstrates adequate attendance and participation in classroom and clinical sessions and achieves passing scores on tests.
STEP 3:
SNA achieves a passing status and is issued our " Affidavit of Completion" designating them as a Graduate Nurse Aide (GNA). They are now eligible to work as a "nurse aide" (NA) for no more than 120 days.
STEP 4:
Colorado State Board of Nursing (BON) & Pearson-Vue are notified that student has successfully completed course and been issued a FRNATP Affidavit of Completion (diploma). Our Proof-of-Training-Affidavit is then issued to Pearson-Vue (valid for only 24 months).
STEP 6:
GNA submits an application to Pearson-Vue to take the Colorado Nurse Aide Competency and Evaluation Exam (State Boards).
STEP 7:
GNA is directly notified of examination date by Pearson-Vue and subsequently takes and passes the Colorado Nurse Aide Competency and Evaluation Exam.
STEP 8:
Colorado State Board of Nursing is notified by Pearson-Vue that student has successfully passed the Colorado Nurse Aide Competency and Evaluation Exam.
FINISH:
Colorado State Board of Nursing bestows upon student the official title of "Certified Nurse Aide" (CNA) and places the persons name on the official Colorado Nurse Aide Registry.
The CNA Certification Process
Enrolled Student Nurse Aide (SNA) begins course and completes Criminal Background Check, TB and Hep-B medical documentation requirements.
