Attendance

DEFERMENT: Should an enrolled STUDENT determine that they will not be able to complete their enrolled PROGRAM course, than the STUDENT may request in writing that a deferment to a future PROGRAM course be granted by the Administrator of NURSE NANCY LLC. However, no deferments shall be granted unless the STUDENT’S TOTAL PROGRAM COST (balance due) has been paid in full (100%) prior to the end date of the course they originally enrolled in, regardless of the payment option initially selected. Any deferment request by a STUDENT extinguishes any and all rights to any refunds and a $50 deferment fee will be required to cover necessary administrative amendments by NURSE NANCY LLC. Only 01 deferment per student is permitted.

ATTENDANCE: "This is Not High School"; attendance is expected, closely tracked, reported to the Board of Nursing, AND, contributes to each student’s final program score. Each student begins each course with a certain number of points for attendance. Any late arrival to class that exceeds 1/2 hour shall be counted as absent to the nearest 0.25 day. One “no call/no show” absence results in a major loss of attendance points and a second “no call/no show” absence results in expulsion from the program. No more than 07 classroom hours can be missed and “no absences may occur during Day 1 or during the clinical training session”. Students must also notify the instructor in advance of an anticipated absence. Exceptions may be made for medical reasons, voting or jury duty if proof is provided.

REFUNDS: Refunds for any withdrawal are only granted up until three calendar days (72 hours) PRIOR to the first day of class. NO REFUNDS will be granted after that point, regardless of reason, because the reserved seat simply can not be re-filled on such short notice. We are sorry but we are a business and not a bank so we will not take a financial loss due to your misfortune or poor planning (just being honest!). Our seating is limited and by paying the enrollment fee, you are reserving a seat in your enrolled class. That class will proceed whether or not you are in that seat and the direct and indirect costs associated with that seat will still remain (like buying a seat on an airplane or bus).

AGAIN...refunds will only be granted up to 72 hours (3 days) prior to the start date on your enrolled class so please plan ahead!
