THE FRONT RANGE NURSE AIDE TRAINING PROGRAMS
ATTENDANCE, DEFERMENTS & REFUNDS
REFUND POLICY: Refunds for any withdrawal are ONLY GRANTED UP UNTIL THREE CALENDAR DAYS (72 HOURS) PRIOR TO THE FIRST DAY OF CLASS, including any and all credit card transactions. NO REFUNDS will be granted after that point, regardless of reason, because the reserved seat simply cannot be easily re-filled within the 72 hours prior to start. We are sorry but we are a business and not a bank so we will not take a financial loss due to your misfortune or poor planning (just being honest!). Our seating is limited and by paying the enrollment fee, you are reserving a seat in your enrolled class. That class will proceed whether or not you are in that seat and the direct and indirect costs associated with that seat will still remain (like buying a seat on an airplane or bus). In addition, NO refund shall be granted if a student voluntarily requests a deferment to any future course; NO refund shall be granted when an enrolled student has a medical, legal or immediate family emergency; NO refund shall be granted if a student voluntarily drops-out after the enrolled course has started because they decide the course is too difficult, intense or time demanding or they decide they do not desire to be a CNA; NO refund shall be granted when an enrolled student is expelled because the applicant has provided false information on their application or the criminal background check confirms a conviction for any crime listed in the Program Acceptance Standards; NO refund shall be granted if an enrolled student demonstrates poor performance due to their inability to communicate clearly using the English language; NO refund shall be granted if a student’s enrollment fee was paid by credit card.
DEFERMENT POLICY: If any enrolled student voluntarily requests a deferment to any future course within 72 hours prior to the start date of the course they have enrolled in, than a $75 fee may be required to cover administrative costs including insurance and registration changes. Should any enrolled STUDENT determine that they will not be able to complete their enrolled PROGRAM course after that course has started due to a medical, legal or immediate family emergency, then the STUDENT MUST: 1) Request in writing that a deferment to a future PROGRAM course be granted by the Administrator of NURSE NANCY LLC; 2) pay a $75 CASH or MONEY ORDER DEFERMENT FEE to cover necessary administrative amendments and extension of mandatory insurance coverage, and; 3) provide written verification (proof) signed by an MD, an attorney or a copy of a death certificate.
ATTENDANCE: "This is Not High School"; attendance is expected, closely tracked, reported to the Board of Nursing, AND, contributes to each student’s final program score. Each student begins each course with a certain number of points for attendance. Any late arrival to class that exceeds 1/2 hour shall be counted as absent to the nearest 0.25 day. One “no call/no show” absence results in a major loss of attendance points and a second “no call/no show” absence results in expulsion from the program. No more than 07 classroom hours can be missed and “no absences may occur during Day 1 or during the clinical training session”. Students must also notify the instructor in advance of an anticipated absence. Exceptions may be made for medical reasons, voting or jury duty if proof is provided.
